Materials used for this class


Paper: A good quality paper. Mixed media or watercolor paper minimum 200gsm/110lb. I use an A4 Ebony Sketchbook by Daler Rowney. 8x11 inches/21x30cm. 
**It’s optional to prime the paper with gesso, but I recommend it.


Acrylic Colors:

Opera Rose or Neon pink

Process Magenta

Winsor Violet or Ultramarine Violet

Phthalo Green

Permanet Green Deep or Viridian

Prussian Blue

Titanium White


White Gesso

Acrylic Gloss medium or Glazing medium


Watercolor pencils Colors: Red Violet, White and Light Pink.

I use Woody by Stabilo (Alternatively water soluble crayons/pastels like for example Caran d’ache, Derwent or other type or brand of watercolor pencils)


Brushes, 1 inch and a few smaller brushes, hog hair and synthetic.

Painting knife 


Paper towels
