The materials used in this course
Brushes
Small brushes: size 12, 16.
Larger brushes: 3cm/1.5 inch and 5cm/3 inch
Canvas / Paper
Canvas:
40x40 cm / 16x16 inches
20x20 cm/ 8x8 inches.
Paper:
Heavy sketching paper or watercolor paper. minimum 160 gram/110 lb.
Acrylic Paint and Gesso
Yellow Ochre
Burnt Sienna
Ultramarine Blue
Indigo Blue
Mars Black
Titanium White
Acrylic Gesso (white)
Other materials
Painting knife.
Spray bottle with water.
Water container (I use a couple of small plastic buckets)
Water soluble crayons - I use Caran D'ache Neo Color II.
Watercolor pencils - for example "Woody" from Stabilo.
Paper Towels.
Wet Wipes/Baby Wipes (the ones without lotion!)
Pencil & Eraser
Spray Varnish for Acrylics (optional)
Latex gloves (optional)
Masking tape (optional)
