The materials used in this course

Brushes

Small brushes: size 12, 16.

Larger brushes: 3cm/1.5 inch and 5cm/3 inch 

Canvas / Paper
Your choice of paper or canvas for the exercises. Below are what I'm using:
Canvas:
60x60cm / 24x24 inches.
40x40 cm / 16x16 inches.
20x20 cm/ 8x8 inches.
Paper: 
Heavy sketching paper or watercolor paper. minimum 160 gram/110 lb.

Acrylic Paint and Gesso

Yellow Ochre

Burnt Sienna
Cobalt Blue

Ultramarine Blue

Indigo Blue
Wedgwood blue (Dale Rowney System 3) or Light Blue
Black Ivory/Mars/Carbon

Titanium White
Cobalt Blue
Prussian blue
Cadmium Orange

Acrylic Gesso (white)

Process Cyan (Blue) Acrylic ink. I'm using FW Daler Rowney (alternatively use turquoise or another blue or fluid/high flow acrylics)

Other materials

Painting knife.

Spray bottle with water.

Water container (I use a couple of small plastic buckets)

Water soluble crayons - I use Caran D'ache Neo Color II.

Watercolor pencils - for example "Woody" from Stabilo (brown, black, orange, light blue and ultramarine blue)

Paper Towels.

Wet Wipes/Baby Wipes (the ones without lotion!) or cotton rags.

Pencil & Eraser
Spray Varnish for Acrylics (optional)

Latex gloves (optional)
Masking tape (optional)
