I just completed the course and I’m so glad that I chose to take it. I feel a lot more confident to take risks and not worry about the outcome. Marie Louise, you have a gentle yet strong teaching style that really resonated with me. I’m excited to keep learning and practicing using different colour combinations and compositions. It was so helpful that you demonstrated the steps from beginning to end of what is involved in producing a piece of work. I’m getting better (I think) at staying loose but I know it’s going to be a journey. 

The course is unique as it leads artists into art-making and mark-making that is both simple and effective. The simplicity of the approach empowers one to make art that is satisfying and meaningful. Each person will experience the course differently, but it enabled me to get over the activation hump and start producing art that is peaceful to look at and a pleasure to make. In a world where there is currently an explosion of artists and art making, the style and methods used by Marie Louise result in art that is distinctive and recognizable.

Your course has really opened me up to the next stage, as I was stuck! I have found the course so useful to learn, and refer back to as I progress on my journey! It’s really encouraged me to continue to explore and get better.
